Happy Thanksgiving Day

Today is Thanksgiving Day – and we hope that everyone is enjoying the day with their family, and those that cannot be with their families for whatever reason our thoughts are with you.

Holidays are a time when we let our guard down and sometimes forget to keep an eye our for danger, the opportunist thief who is loitering on the street corner, we don’t pay much attention to, or the guy delivering leaflets on your subdivision.  Are the leaflets left in such as way as to give away the fact you are not at home, do they stay in the same place for a few days without being moved?  Just being aware of the dangers is a start to securing your property. 

We have to remember that Thanksgiving Day is a day for celebration and being happy – make sure yours is not marred by an unhappy event.

Safeguard Maintenance Inc

This is the first in a series of blogs that Safeguard will be publishing.  Our aim is to help you with security in your premises be that the home you live in, the vacation rental home that you own or your business premises.  The concept is always the same – just applied slightly differently for different premise types.

What is the most important part of your security system – is it feeling safe whilst you are in the premises?  Is it feeling safe whilst you are away from the premises?
